Legacy Giving:
Including the RMJ Foundation in Your Estate Planning

After dedicating your career to credit unions and the philosophy of “people helping people,” you may be considering how you can help to ensure the success of the credit union movement well into the future.  We invite you to consider a charitable bequest to the Richard Myles Johnson (“RMJ”) Foundation.

A charitable bequest is a provision in your will or living trust that provides for all or a portion of your estate to pass to a charitable organization.  Through your gift to the RMJ Foundation, you can continue to advance the important credit union objectives of youth financial education as well as the professional education and development of credit union staff and volunteers.

There are many ways to support the foundation, from a general bequest of a specific dollar amount or percentage of your estate, to a specific bequest of a particular asset.  You might also consider a contingent or residual bequest that takes into consideration other beneficiaries or gifts. We encourage you to consult with your estate planning professional to help you determine the most appropriate form of giving for your unique estate plan.

The Richard Myles Johnson Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, federal tax identification number 95-6141173.
