RMJ Dream Vacation Raffle Official Rules
1. OFFICIAL RULES: The Official Rules of the 2024 Dream Vacation Raffle (“Raffle”) are set forth below. By entering the Raffle,
Entrant agrees to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions and interpretation of sponsor.
2. SPONSOR: The Sponsor of this Raffle is the Richard Myles Johnson Foundation (“Sponsor”),a tax-exempt non-profit organization
under §501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, located at 2855 E. Guasti Road, Suite 202, Ontario, California 91761.

3. ELIGIBILITY: The Raffle is open to qualifying persons 18 years of age or older (“Entrants”). Officers, employees or directors of Sponsor,
or members of their immediate families are not eligible.
4. HOW TO ENTER: To participate, Entrant may purchase one (1) Raffle ticket for $5.00 or eight (8) Raffle tickets for $40.00 from an authorized representative of Sponsor. Entrant must complete the Entrant information section of the ticket, separate it from the
ticket stub, and return the completed portion to an authorized representative of Sponsor prior to Raffle Closing. The ticket stub
should be retained for your records. Only Sponsor’s officially authorized and numbered Raffle tickets may be used to enter. There is
no limit to the number of Raffle tickets an eligible Entrant may purchase. Altered, mutilated or illegible entries will be disqualified. Sponsor
is not responsible for lost, late, delayed, mutilated, illegible, or misdirected entries.
5. GRAND PRIZE: One (1) trip to winner’s choice of destination, including travel and hotel accommodations (maximum total
value $3,500.00), to be taken any time in 2025. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute Grand Prize for a prize of equal or greater
value in its sole discretion.
6. TERM: Raffle tickets will be available for purchase from authorized representatives of Sponsor beginning March 1, 2024
at 9:00 a.m. PST until October 23, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. PST All completed Raffle tickets must be received no later than October 23
at 9:00 a.m. PST (“Raffle Closing”) in order to be eligible.
7. WINNER SELECTION AND ANNOUNCEMENT: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected at random from all qualifying entries
on October 23, 2024, at the California Credit Union League's REACH Conference, October 21 - 24. Drawing will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decision is final on all matters relating to this Raffle. The winner will be announced at the REACH Conference and social media platforms. Grand Prize winner need not bepresent to win. Grand Prize winner will be notified by telephone or e-mail within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing date. If Sponsoris unable to locate the Grand Prize winner, an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing at Sponsor’s headquarters. No cash or other substitutions are allowed except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of entries received.
8. ENTRANT RESPONSIBILITY: This is not a lottery; this is a charitable raffle consistent with California state and federal law.
Entrant is solely responsible for any tax consequences resulting from the receipt or use of any prize. Generally, an exempt
organization must report raffle prizes to the Internal Revenue Service if: (a) the amount is $600 or more; and (b) at least 300 times
the amount paid for the ticket. The Internal Revenue Service does not generally consider amounts paid for chances in raffles, lotteries, or similar drawings for prizes as tax-deductible donations.1 Consult your tax advisor.
9. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By participating, Entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions and interpretation
of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify fromthe Raffle, and to prosecute to the fullest extent permitted by law, any
Entrant or Grand Prize winner who, in Sponsor’s reasonable suspicion, tampers with the Raffle, the entry process, intentionally
submits more than a single entry, violates these Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
10. RELEASE: By entering, Entrant consents to the use of winner’s name and likeness and any statements, quotes or testimonials
provided by the winner for advertising and publicity purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. Entrant releases Sponsor, its parent organizations, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees and agents from
any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from participation in this Raffle or by acceptance,
possession or use of any prize.
11. GOVERNING LAW: The Raffle and the rights and obligations of Sponsor and Entrants will be governed and controlled by the laws
of the State of California, applicable to contracts made and preformed therein without reference to the applicable choice of law
provisions. All actions, proceedings, and litigation relating hereto will be instituted and prosecuted solely within the State of
California, San Bernardino County. The parties consent to the jurisdiction of the state courts of California and federal court located
within the state and county with respect to any action, dispute, or other matter pertaining to or arising out of this Raffle.
